Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128

The Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128, the vastly upgraded Speccy with the lovely heatsink on the side, is by far the most beautiful 8-bit micro you could wish for. It's also relatively rare (as it was swiftly substituted by Amstrad's Spectrum +2), but if you're willing to go for an untested machine you could grab one for cheap. Take this ZX Spectrum 128 auction for example. The computer lacks power supply and RF cable and is thus untested, but remains in excellent cosmetic condition. Chances are the thing will work. Seller ships worldwide.

  1. As far as I know, an universal AC adapter and a common RF cable should do the trick, and given the unit price I'd go for it if I had to pick up a Speccy!

  2. The things needed to use the 128 are indeed cheap and easy to find dear Mik. The only thing is that it remains untested, but -yes- it could be an amazing bargain.
