One lovely, boxed CompuMate home computer expansion/keyboard thingy by Spectravideo and 20 sealed games (mostly copies of Berzerk, admittedly) for the venerable Atari 2600 console can be your via this eBay auction. Provided you have a US address, that is.
Oh, and did you know that the CompuMate, besides offering a membrane keyboard, also allows you to connect a tape recorder to your console in order to store and read data? Well, it does, and even comes with a built-in version of BASIC, a music synthesizer app and a drawing program.

Essentially a CPC with a few extra chips, a cartridge slot, a SCART port and some preposterously priced games, Amstrad's GX4000 console was a proper disaster. A highly collectible disaster admittedly and an interesting, distinctly European 8-bit console, you could grab via this pretty amazing GX4000 auction on eBay.
You'll be getting two consoles (one working, one for spare parts), a new power supply, the manual, two controllers, the original box, a SCART cable and 12 games. The games include such rare pieces as No Exit, TinTin on the Moon and Plotting.
Seller ships only within the European Union.

Really love those retro bundles; they are so full of little surprises and great stuff they are far too tempting despite already owning a ZX Spectrum. Thankfully then, this particular 48k Spectrum bundle can only be shipped to UK addresses...
Besides a fully working, boxed with manuals ZX Spectrum 48k complete with all necessary cables and things, you'll also be getting a selection of 16 classic magazines, several blank tapes, a joystick and some truly great games. Said games would include versions of Jet Set Willy, Spellbound, Kokotoni Wilf, Ant Attack, Elite and The Sentinel.

The Sega Game Gear produced by Majesco might be lacking TV Tuner support, but, other than that, most probably is the best version of the console. It sports a better speaker and a more durable, lower response time & better contrast screen, you see. Oh, and you can grab a practically new, boxed one via this Game Gear eBay auction. Seller is shipping almost worldwide.

I never knew that Sierra, even back during its On Line Systems days, developed a football game. Well, apparently it did and it was none other Hi-Res Soccer, a copy of which you can buy off of eBay. It's the sealed, Apple II version of this rare game and it wont be cheap. Seller's shipping worldwide.

Let's start off with this lovely and modestly priced boxed copy of Zork: Grand Inquisitor (PC) that can be grabbed off of eBay. It is, after all, one of the funniest point-and-click adventures I have ever played. It's beyond demented and is one of those extremely rare FMV offerings that are really, really good. Also, it comes complete in a big box with all sorts of goodies and the seller is shipping worldwide.
Now, on to the promise.
Well, I've decided I should start working a bit more on Retro Treasures and try to actually improve it and expand its scope. This is not something that will happen overnight, mind you, but a goal the first step towards which shall be more frequent posts. Oh, and do please feel free to share any suggestions you might have...

Those tiny 16kb ZX Spectrum carts never really took off, despite being able to instantly, almost magically, load a game. Must have been their price and limited storage capabilities I believe, though, if it weren't for these, this Hungry Horace cartridge that appeared on eBay wouldn't be as collectible as it is. It's boxed. complete and only available for UK buyers, mind you.

With a price that has already surpassed $300 and more than 4 days left to it, we can be more than certain that this particular copy of Infocom's Starcross being auctioned off over at eBay is going to end up being very expensive indeed. Not that this is particularly shocking when you consider it's the rare and highly collectible flying saucer (1st) edition of the game for the Apple IIe/c/c+, but I thought I'd warn everyone.
The game is apparently in excellent condition and the seller is shipping worldwide.
